My top ten from BlogWorld

Just last week, I attended BlogWorld and New Media Expo. It was jam packed with sessions giving businesses ideas on planning, executing and tracking social media (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, blogging, etc). All with the end goal of building your brand online and/or monetizing.

Each session can very well warrant a full blog post, but I am going to share my favorite key takeaways from a birds eye level – some points taken from multiple sessions.

Five Strategies to Drive Traffic Using Social Media

Strategies for social mediaLast weekend I attended the Blogworld Expo in Las Vegas. It was a great event to gain an understanding of social media, such as micro blogging, external blog commenting, social media interaction, social media tagging, video, and much more.

One of the many seminars I attended was “Generating Traffic Through Social Media: 5 Strategies” by Don Crowther (from http://www.stompernet.com/). He was the most exciting presenter of the three days!
